We believe that the First United Methodist Church Early Care Center is summoned by God to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by ministering to young children and their families by providing a quality educational program which promotes developmentally appropriate growth: spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
We welcome families of all races and creeds.

The Early Care Center is open
Monday - Friday 7:15 am to 5:45 pm

The First United Methodist Church has responded to the need in our community for safe, dependable day care by offering its facilities and enrichment experiences for young children in a Christian environment.

The Early Care Center of the First United Methodist Church is open to children of all races and creeds. Presently, Early Care Center serves families with children ages 6 weeks through School Age.

SHOULD WE HAVE A SCHOOL CLOSING DUE TO A HURRICANE OR OTHER SCHOOL EMERGENCY IT WILL BE LISTED HERE (IF WE HAVE POWER).

YOU SHOULD REFER TO YOUR HANDBOOK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT INSTANCES THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED.

WHEN IN DOUBT LISTEN TO THE NEWS - IF SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED MOST LIKELY WE WILL BE CLOSED TOO!

 

The Early Care Center Program

Our Programs

The Early Care Center is a year round operation. We offer Full Time Care for Infants - 5 year olds; Part Time for 2 & 3 year olds; Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (August-June) and summer camps for elementary aged children.
